Mint Julep Sweet Tea Green Smoothie

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups green tea, brewed and chilled
  • 2 cups sliced peaches, frozen
  • 1 green apple, halved and cored
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  1. Place spinach, mint, and green tea into a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add peaches, apple, and lemon juice and blend again.
-If peaches aren't available, substitute nectarines, apricots, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries.
-A pear can be used in place of the apple, if desired.
-This smoothie is on the tart side, if desired, a little bit of maple syrup or honey can be added to taste.
