I get asked about making homemade ice cream all the time. Really, I don’t feel all too qualified to offer too much advice.
My obsession with making my ice cream started when I went to Italy as an 18-year-old and tasted gelato for the first time. It wasn’t until several years later when I was married and bought my own ice cream maker, that the obsession really kicked into high gear and I started experimenting.
I was so happy to see a post on David Lebovitz’s blog yesterday with tips for making homemade ice cream.
As we all know, he is the King of Ice Cream, and therefore much more qualified to answer all your questions about homemade ice cream. (Note to self: You still haven’t bought The Perfect Scoop yet…)

Everything looks wonderful! Whatever … YOU are the master … in my opinion and others too I’m positive.
