Gardner Village Bloggers Night Out

We’re in full Halloween mode at my house and I bet you are too. We’re lucky enough to live close to Gardner Village, which is one of my favorite places to visit during October. It’s such a fun place to go! The entire village and all of the shops are decked out with witches and other fabulously spooky decorations. I love perusing at the darling shops and stopping for a quick bite to eat whenever I’m there.

A few days ago I attended the 2nd Annual Bloggers Night Out hosted by My Craft Channel. I had the best time! We gathered together to listen to Eric Dowdle speak about his folk art and how he became an artist. He created a super cute Witchfest puzzle for Gardner Village. (Witchfest is the month long Halloween celebration at Gardner Village.) We all got to take home a puzzle. Lucky us! After that we were let loose to do some shopping. Lucky, Kylie and Sari and I had a fun time checking out all the shops and trying on miniature witch hats.

In this video, you can see all of the fun things we did plus get a peek at what Gardner Village looks like decorated to the nines for Halloween. You might even spot a few of your favorite bloggers!

I snapped a few pics with my phone of some of the things we looked at during our night out. We found some saucy aprons…

And a scary/cute Halloween miniature village. There was a miniature Beetlejuice. (I want that. Name that movie.)

We walked through my favorite store, Down To Earth.I’m going back for that New York picture. But what I really want are those blue chairs. Sigh.

Everywhere we went there was something fun and cute to look at. I loved Frankenstein and his bride. Isn’t that darling?!

The very short (she’s 6’1″) Kylie (The How To Mom) was almost tall enough for this witch hat dangling from the ceiling.

My kids and I always get a kick out of the witch riding a bike in the air. The witches are really clever. You’ve got to go check it out! It’s always fun to go to Gardner Village, but Witchfest really is the best time to go.
Many thanks to the My Craft Channel and Gardner Village teams for a splendid evening!
