Mother’s Day is just around the corner! I admit it always sneaks up on me and if it weren’t for the darling homemade gifts my kids bring home from school, the holiday would flash right by unnoticed. It’s a good thing I was invited by Cardstore.com to make a card for my mom or I might have forgotten (again)to get a card in the mail.
I went ahead and jumped on the Cardstore.com bandwagon to make a cute card for my mama using my kids cute faces and my mad skills. Just kidding! There are no mad skills needed. It’s easy peasy lemon squeezy to make a card for your mom or wife or grandma or aunt or any woman you want to honor this Mother’s Day. And….you can do it for $1.99. Sweet! (Read below for the deets.)
I’ll save the best part for last. :)
How To Make Your Own Card For Mom
So I headed on over to Cardstore.com and perused the lovely cards and chose what I thought was the perfect, simple way to wish my mom, also known as Grandma Lolo, a Happy Mother’s Day.
There are tons of options! You could sit for hours trying to decide on the right one. I ended up choosing the one below. I am going through a pink phase and I thought some black and white pics of my kids from last summer would look great with the pink.
Uploading the pictures couldn’t have been easier.
For the inside I had the option of adding another photo. I used one from my mom’s birthday last year–the only one where the kids are sort of looking at the camera. Ha! I still think my mom will like it. :) Besides the pictures, it’s also really easy to choose your own wording for the inside and outside too. There are different fonts and colors. It was fun to change things up.
Fifteen minutes later (including the extra time I spent trying to choose my favorite card) I had processed my order and received a confirmation email.
Now for the very best part….are you ready for it? THEY WILL MAIL IT FOR YOU. Score! This gal just made sure her mama is going to get a Mother’s Day card right on time (instead of sitting with a stamp on the envelope in a stack on my desk until July). Ahem. Well, thank you Cardstore for making sure my mom isn’t disappointed this Mother’s Day.
Next up: A card for my mother-in-law and grandmother.
