I’ve Been Meaning To Tell You (08.29.2012)

I’m heading out to spend the day with two of my favorite gals and my favorite little red-head.  While I’m out and about, here are some things I’ve been meaning to tell you:

On Design Mom I’m sharing 6 Secrets To Properly Washed and Stored Produce.

On Make and Takes I’m giving you the scoop on some of my favorite kids cooking tools I’ve had my eye on, 17 of them, in fact:

And on Petit Elefant, a recipe for Bean Salad with Tomatoes and Vinaigrette made from my CSA goodies.

The Simple Things is launching their print magazine next week. The preview is simply lovely.  Yay!

I just finished reading My Berlin Kitchen and I’ll have a review for you next week.  But I just couldn’t contain myself–I LOVE this book.  And I love Luissa Weiss even more than I already did.  You can pre-order it now.  And trust me, you’ll want to.

My new favorite snack:

Love, love, love these gluten-free Fruit and NO-NUT bars from The Good Bean.  They disappeared very quickly.  (Disclosure–I did get these bars as a free sample.  And I wish that on the whole world, because these are some tasty snack bars.)

And finally, how darling are these Cream Puff Swans from Barbara Bakes?!  My kids have been wanting me to make some and now I know how to do it.
