Each of us got the chance to play news anchor for a few minutes.
I don’t know if you know this about me, but I’m kind of shy. For some reason being on television doesn’t usually bother me. (Not that I’ve done it that many times…just a few.) But that night I was all nerves.

Reading from a teleprompter?! Yikes. The teleprompter scrolls up according to how fast you talk, so I found myself being interested in that and not paying attention to what I was reading. Ha! (Or not.)
You’ll just have to watch the video of me with Ashley from I’m Topsy Turvy. (Don’t you love her hair?)
Oh! And here’s me again with my pal, Carina from The Jet Set. This time we ad-libbed about our blogs. Carina asks me about my most controversial post…=”center”>
|Tiffany and Laurie from Nature’s Knockout and Dave McCann (a new anchor)|
They had a nice dessert table spread out for us–including a gluten-free cake. I was totally impressed with that. =”center”>
We also got to take part in The Nightside radio broadcast with Alex and Ethan.

Way to go KSL! What a great event. It was so nice to mingle with the news anchors. They were so down-to-earth and seemed genuinely interested in what we do as bloggers.

It was also really fun to catch up with friends I hadn’t seen for awhile and make new ones. Kirsten (on the right), one of The Crafting Chicks, was a friend from junior high and high school. I hadn’t seen her for 13 years! I don’t remember much from those years, but I did remember her. She was/is one of the nicest people and fun to be around.
Thanks to KSL and Natalie Andrews-Wardel, Social Media Director for KSL for a memorable evening!
All pictures are from Natalie and KSL. (I didn’t even take out my camera. I was having too much fun!)
